The festival will take place from December 7th until January 9th in Museo Mattatoio di Testaccio. During the opening weekend there is a very interesting program including artist talks, panel discussions and portfolioreviews. So in case you are in Rome, don’t miss it!

THE IDEAL AND THE ACTUAL, DUO EXHIBITION WIT MATTHIEU LITT
Caroline O’Breen: 'In the exhibition, The Ideal and the Actual Galerie Caroline O’Breen will show A Monkey Peeled an Onion by Marjolein Blom and Matthieu Litt’s Horsehead Nebula. Both series are about visualizing the unimaginable in their own way. The title of the show refers to the theory of Forms by the Greek philosopher Plato.'

New works from the series 'A Monkey Peeled an Onion' will be on show during ART Rotterdam 2018 with Galerie Caroline O'Breen, together with the beautiful works of Ola Lanko, Jaya Pelupessy and Maura Biava.
UNSEEN AMSTERDAM 2017
From friday september 22nd until sunday 24th, Galerie Caroline O'Breen will present new works from my series 'A Monkey Peeled an Onion', together with works from Laurence Aegerter and an installation by Ola Lanko, during Unseen Amsterdam 2017.
For 'A Monkey Peeled an Onion' I have researched different aspects of the vacuum by examining philosophical and scientific theories about the essential nature of 'nothing'.
